The Mac Guild Mailing List
When you signed up for the Mac Guild, you became part of one of the largest growing Apple Users Group in the US, and you were also automatically subscribed to the Mac Guild mailing list.
About the Mailing List
As a user of a Mac, iPod, and/or iPhone, you may, at times, have problems that you need help with. The Mac Guild mailing list is the perfect place to ask your questions or simply discuss the technology. The mailing list is intended to provide a forum to share Apple related information and to get help with Apple products as well as 3rd party products that support your Apple products. The mailing list is also used to share discounts on Apple-related products and make announcements regarding Apple-related products and news.
For administration purposes, the list is occasionally used by the moderator to make announcements related to the Mac Guild, Mac Guild membership, Mac Guild website, and Mac Guild reviews. Finally, from time to time, the Mac Guild holds raffles and contests as well as offers products for review, and the mailing list is used to administer these events.
NOTE: If you do have technical problems, please practice due diligence in resolving your problem before submitting questions to the mailing list. There are a lot of knowledgeable people on the list who are willing to help, but many of these problems may have already been posted before, so you may find the solution already available in the Mac Guild archives or on an Apple discussion forum.
Using the Mailing List
This is a moderated mailing list, meaning that all posts are reviewed to determine if they are appropriate for this forum and that they adhere to the posting guidelines. The posting guidelines are designed to maintain proper posting etiquette which is important to the operation and management of mailing lists. Poor etiquette tends to drive members away, frustrate digest members, and overburden list moderators. Please be sure to review the Posting Guidelines prior to making posts so that you are not surprised by unexpected post bounces or warnings.
Once you understand the guidelines, use the following email for sending posts to the Mac Guild mailing list:
